“Whoever says,
{ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ }
‘There is no God but Allāh alone, with no partner or associate. His is the kingdom and His is the Praise, and He has power over everything,’ ten times in the morning, a hundred good deeds will be written for him, a hundred bad deeds will be erased from his record, he will get reward equivalent to that of freeing a slave, and he will have protection on that day until the evening comes, and whoever says this supplication ten times in the evening, will get the same reward until the morning comes.” (Ahmad no. 8719, and Shaykh Ibn Bāz graded its Isnād as Hassan [Good])

{ أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرِ مَا فِيهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ ، وَالْهَرَمِ ، وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ }
“We have entered upon evening, while the whole kingdom is for Allāh, and praise is due to Allāh alone Whom there is no God but Him and has no partner or associate. O Allāh, I ask You from the good of this night and the good of what it contains, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what it contains. O Allāh, I seek refuge in You from laziness, senility, and the evil of vanity, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of this life, and from the torment of the grave.”
In the morning he used to say,
{ أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ... أسْأَلُكَ خَيْرِ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوم وَخَيْر مَا بعدِه، وَأَعُوذُ بِك مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذا اليَوم وَشَر مَا بَعْدِه }
“We entered upon morning, while the whole kingdom is for Allāh, and praise is due to Allāh alone Whom there is no God but Him and has no partner or associate. O Allāh, I ask You from the good of this day and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and what comes after it ...” (Muslim no. 2723)

{ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي،وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ،وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ،أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيّ،وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ }
“O Allāh, You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshiped but You. You have created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant with you and my promise to you as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins, so forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.”
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Whoever says this supplication during the day with firm faith in it and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise, and whoever says it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” (Al-Bukhāriy no. 6306)

{ اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا،وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ،وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُور }
“O Allāh, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening, by You we live, and by You we die, and to You is the final return,” and when the evening comes say,
{ اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَبِكَ ،نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ }
“O Allāh, by You we enter the evening and by You we enter the morning, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.” (Abū Dāwood no. 5068, At-Tirmidthiy no. 3391, Sunan An-Nasā’iy Al-Kubra no. 9836 and Ibn Mājah no. 3868, and Shaykh Ibn Bāz graded its Isnād as Saheeh [Authentic])

{ اللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءًا ، أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ }
“O Allāh, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the evident, Lord and Possessor of everything, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his encouragement to associate others with you, and from bringing evil on myself or bringing evil to another Muslim.”
Allāh’s Messenger said, “Say it in the morning, in the evening, and when you go to bed.” (Ahmad no. 6597, Abū Dāwood no. 3529, and An-Nasā’iy no. 7699, and Shaykh Ibn Bāz graded its Isnād as Saheeh [Authentic])

{ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ }
“In the Name of Allāh, with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and the All-Knowing.”
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Whoever says, ‘In the Name of Allāh, with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and the All-Knowing,’ three times in the morning and three times in the evening, nothing will harm him.” (Ahmad no. 446, At-Tirmidthiy no. 10179 and Ibn Mājah no. 3869, and graded as Hassan Saheeh [Good-Authentic] by At-Tirmidthiy and Ibn Bāz)

{ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا ، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا ، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا }
“I am pleased with Allāh as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (PBUH) as my Prophet.”
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “No Muslim slave of Allāh would say three times in the morning and three times in the evening, ‘I am pleased with Allāh as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (PBUH) as my Prophet,’ but is promised by Allāh please him on the day of resurrection.” (Ahmad no. 18967, At-Tirmidthiy no. 3389, and Ibn Mājah no. 3870, and Shaykh Ibn Bāz graded its Isnād as Hassan [Good])

{ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ ، وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي ، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي ، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي ، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي }
“O Allāh, I ask you for well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allāh, I ask You for well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my property. O Allāh, conceal my faults, calm my fears, and protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Might from being taken unaware from beneath me.” (Ahmad no. 4785, Abū Dāwood no. 5074, Sunan An-Nasā’iy Al-Kubra no. 10401, and Ibn Mājah no. 3871)

{ أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ ، وَكَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَدِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَمِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مسلمًا، وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ }
“We have entered a new day upon the religion of Islam, the word of sincere devotion, the religion of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the faith of our father Ibrāheem who was an upright Muslim (in worshiping Allāh), and was not of those who worship others besides Allāh.” (Ahmad no. 21144, 15367)
When the night comes he would say, “We have entered a new night upon the religion of Islam… etc.” Ibn Bāz graded the Isnād of this Hadeeth as Saheeh [Authentic].
All the supplications mentioned above are collected in a book by Shaykh Ibn Bāz, may Allāh have mercy on him, entitled “Tuhfat Ul-Akhyār Bi Bayān Jumlah Nafi‘ah Mimma Warada Fee Il-Kitābi Wa As-Sunnah Mina Al-Ad‘iyah Wa Al-Adthkār,” in the chapter of “Adthkār of the Day and the Night”.

{ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ }
“O Ever Living One, O Sustainer, by Your Mercy I seek relief. Set right for me all my affairs. Do not place me in charge of myself, even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. even for a moment).” (An-Nasā’iy in Al-Sunan Al-Kubra no. 10405)

{ حَسْبِيَ الله لاَ إِلهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرشِ الْعَظِيمِ }
“Sufficient for me is Allāh, there is no God worthy of worship except Him, on Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne,” seven times in the morning and seven times in the evening. (Abū Dāwood no. 5081)
